How can Amazing Care help me and my loved one?
Amazing Care will provide YOU and YOUR LOVED ONE trained, bonded and insured caregivers at your personal residence. We take care of homemaking and personal care services depending of the level of assistance needed. Is your agency licensed? Amazing Care is a duly licensed In-Home Care agency by the Illinois Department of Public Health. How long have you been in business? Amazing Care has been providing In-Home Care services since 2005. Are your caregivers trained, bonded & insured? YES. We make sure that all caregivers are screened, qualified and trained. We also cover all our caregivers’ general liability and worker’s compensation insurance. How much does the service cost? Our Nurse Supervisor and In-home Care Specialist will customize a personalized In–home care plan and the cost is depending on the level of care needed. Please contact us for details. Is Amazing Care covered by Medicare? Unfortunately, NO. Medicare only covers acute skilled care, usually after a hospital stay. We can work in conjunction with your Medicare provider to ensure your loved one is receiving the appropriate amount of care. Do I need a physician’s authorization/prescription? NO, there is no pre-authorization required. Nor is there any certification, pre-qualification, or doctor’s prescription required. You start the services when you want, and you decide how much or how little home care service you would like. What services can an Amazing Care caregiver give my loved one? Our caregivers are focused on providing assistance that is not medical in nature, but is based upon assisting your loved one in meeting the demands of living independently and maintaining a home, such as, companionship, cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, medication reminding, dressing, and bathing. |
How does In-Home Care cost compared to assisted living or nursing homes?
Most of the time, our services will cost less than those of assisted-living facilities or nursing homes. We can tailor a schedule specifically to meet the needs of our clients – so you are only paying for what you need. How does billing work? Do I pay the In-Home caregiver directly? NO. All the caregivers are employees of Amazing Care. We invoice you for the services rendered by our caregivers and we take care of paying the caregivers, along with the taxes, insurance, benefits and other administrative requirements. Will I have the chance to meet the caregiver in advance? Absolutely. It is our main goal to send the right caregiver for YOU and YOUR loved ones. YOU and YOUR LOVED ONES will be involved in the final selection process. Will the same caregiver come each day/shift? YES. It is our belief that keeping the same caregiver is necessary in maintaining trust and good relationship with you and your loved ones. We will be sending the same caregivers as long as you and your loved ones are happy with them. How long do I have to keep the services? For as long as you are happy with our services. Amazing Care will never require you to continue with services if you choose not to continue. How do you handle my loved one’s personal information? Amazing Care handle all personal information extremely confidential. Your personal information will never be sold under any circumstances.
